The Study of the Exercise Prescription for Increasing Bone Density in 20¡­60¡¯s Women

Abstract
In the physiological phenomena that is found in aging, we measured total bone density (TD), trabecular bone density (TBD), and cortical bone density (CBD) to understand the changing of bone mass in each ages and to make up the way about it. The subject group was consist of 218 women volunteers at the age from 20 to 60 who were considered as the healthy and lived in seoul. Their Height and weight were measured for grasp of physical characteristic. Their obesity rate was measured by SMl that is Broca Index, TD, TBD and CBD were measured by XCT960/pQCT(Norland CO.) In the results, in case of TD, bone mass was 375.23¡¾45.14 §·/ccm at age 30 in which people maintain maximal bone mass, was not shown differently st age 20, 40, was reduced by as much as 8.6% (-32.34 §·/ccm) at age 50, and was also reduced by as much as 22.7% (-85.11 §·/ccm) at age 60. In the value of CBD, it was 528 76¡¾65.13 §·/ccm at age 30, was not shown differently st age 24, 40, was reduced by as much as 7.2% (-38.08 §·/ccm) at age 50, and was also reduced by as much as 22.7%.(-85.11§·/ccm) at age 60. In the value of TBD,it was 187.04¡¾30.89 §·/ccm) at age 30, was not shown differently at age 20, 40, was reduced by as much as 13.0% (-24.24 §·/ccm) at age 50, and was also reduced 29.60%(-46.06 §·/ccm) at age 60. Because the age from 18 to 35 is important period that one can increase his peak bone density, we should give a load to bone through the positive sports activity. Gravital resistance bearing is available, for the effects of increasing bone mass therefore it is desirable to exercise training which would change muscle contracting force such as walking, jogging, circuit training, weight training, bicycle ergometer exercise stretching, and the exercise of combination. That is, we should intend to consume the energy quantity 2000-3000 kcal per day, 1 hour per day, 3-4 time/week. If we performed exercise therapy that is made up target heart rate over 50%, at age 50 to 60, 60% at age 40 to 50, 70%, at age 30 to 40, and 80%, at age 20 to 30 moderately as a exercise, we could postpone the period of decreasing of bone mass.
